Planned Activity Groups (PAG) offer a social, fun filled day providing the opportunity to try new things, catch up with old friends and meet new people.

Each program is facilitated by experienced staff and dedicated volunteers who organise a range of different programs to meet your needs.

MHA Care offers a wide range of planned activity groups across their services in Cobram, Nathalia and Yarrawonga.

Participating in planned activity groups has been shown to foster independence and better physical and emotional health. Our activity groups also keep you connected to the community, and provide respite for carers.

How can we help?

It can be difficult to know where to start when first accessing care services. We have answered some frequent questions we receive:

People over 65 living within the community, and people of any age with a disability.

Yes - transport can be provided to and from our Planned Activity Group programs. MHA Care have wheelchair accessible buses in Yarrawonga and Cobram that are used to pick up clients within the town boundaries.

Unfortunately we are unable to pick up clients that live out of town, however clients are welcome to make their own way in to our Planned Activity Group programs.

The MHA Care Swimming Program is a weekly water-based gentle exercise class run by a qualified fitness instructor.

Participants are transported to and from the heated indoor pool, and are provided with the opportunity to have lunch or a cuppa and chat after the exercise class.

A medical clearance is required to be able to participate in this program.

MHA Care run regular shopping trips to large shopping complexes in the region. Bus transport is provided.

These shopping trips are a fantastic day out and provide access to a wide variety of shops, as well as the opportunity to have lunch or a cuppa in the food court.

MHA also offer a range of planned outings to local attractions and special events. These outings are a social and fun filled day out and include a range of activities to suit a variety of interests.
